As one holiday ends, another begins

We had an enjoyable holiday last week in Wales, although the weather was a bit mixed. But not to worry, because the girls still had a fab time and didn't want to come home.

On Wednesday, they go away to France for two weeks with their Dad. Yes, really. Two blinkin' weeks! I'll be doing a lot of walking with Tess no doubt, but I haven't got anything else planned.
Incidentally, Tess was fine last night when we went to bed. But I was a nervous wreck and woke every hour expecting to hear howling or the sounds of a dog trashing the room she was in. At 5am I decided I had to check on her, and she was dozing in her bed. Nothing had been moved or broken, and there were no little 'presents' for me. What a little beauty.

The first night is always the hardest so I am sure she will remain settled. I hope you have lots planned for the next two weeks.

Tess sounds like a star! I so understand about your girls going away for 2 weeks - it can seem endless can't it but just make the most of all that child free time - they will be back before you know it!!

If greyhounds are a lot like whippets - which I believe they are - she'll be a couch potato!

Enjoy the walks and some me time whilst your girls are away.

Linda, I'm sure I left a message for you the other day saying that the photo was of the Llyn Peninsula in Wales where we had our holiday. It's a lovely place, with fab beaches. Good to see you are blogging again.
