Thank you

Thank you so much to everyone who left the very kind and thoughtful messages after my last post about my Dad. He is still in hospital, and still frail and ill, but he's hanging on. And if I know him, it's out of sheer stubbornness.

My girls have been with me to visit him today and it cheered him up so see them, but they find it very sad to see him as he is.

As I said, thanks everyone. You really are a fabulous bunch of bloggers.

My dear friend...I just saw your previous post and I am sorry to be so behind. I hope your father is able to find peace and that you and your daughters can spend as much time with him as possible. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Glad your girls are back with you. Sorry that your dad is so unwell, that's something I know I will have to face one day too (though at the moment my dad is the fittest person I know at age 72, so I hope it's a long way off).

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Even if he wasnt to go it is still very hard for you. My dad was very close to death last January but has made a remarkable recovery. We can never tell what is round the corner but hope and love take us a very long way.
My prayers are with you also,

I'm sorry to hear of your father's declining health, dealing with a parent's illness can be sooooo thoughts are with you, dear friend. But I have to add that it's so nice to see how much you and your daughters love him and that you are treasuring this time together -- how lucky you are to have that special relationship with him.

Will be thinking of you and wishing you and your family peace, strength and comfort. Much love, too!!!
