Summer holidays activity map {featured}

We're currently on a six week break from school in our house, but this year it's slightly different for us because my girls are now both old enough to do their own thing. That's one of the good things about teenagers (because there are definite advantages, honest!) because for the most part they can organise their own time and always have plenty to do during school breaks. In fact, the only things my girls have asked me for this summer have been money (of course!) and lifts here, there and everywhere.

But I do remember how hard it is to keep smaller children occupied for the whole summer and I know that many of you are in the midst of organising holiday activities for your little ones.

So I was pretty impressed when I was sent this Summer activity map with Littlewoods to look at, and if my children were smaller it would be very useful.

 It's a very clever interactive map of the UK with details of major attractions in your region. You can find and book a day out for your family all in the one place. Just click on your area of the UK to see details of the attractions, including prices and directions. There's also an advanced search option where you can put in your details including number of children or budget. Ingenious.

Oh, and if that's not enough there's also a chance to 'Share to Win' a Merlin premium family pass. See the Littlewoods site for further details.

In the meantime, I'm just waiting to hear what my daughters have planned for the next few days...
